Barnes & Noble In Sickness, in Health . . . and in Jail: What Happened When My Husband Unexpectedly Went to Prison for Two Years at Hamilton Place in Chattanooga, TN
Three years ago Mel Jacob's life took an unexpected twist when her husband was jailed for selling a crossbow and an antique rifle through his online mail-order business. He was a man who'd never even got a speeding ticket, someone who'd wait for the light to turn to green before crossing the road. Now he was facing a four year sentence in a prison world that was utterly alien to everything he'd known before, and his wife and two young children were facing not just a life without a husband and father, but navigating the uncharted waters of having a husband and father doing jail time. This is Mel's funny and poignant account of trying to raise two children and maintain a respectable middle-class life while her husband is locked up with some of the toughest criminals in the state.
