Nestled deep in the quiet hills of Kentucky, he settled down to start a family, to build a rewarding career and to enjoy a long, productive life. Along with many others, Jimmy's boss, Bill Smart, watched as Jimmy worked to fulfill his dreams and believed the young man was destined for a bright future - right up until someone murdered him and dropped his body down a sewer manhole.
Near the scene of the murder Bill is present when a house suddenly explodes killing its occupants and turning Bill's world upside down. For reasons he cannot begin to understand, a clan of mountain folk sets out to seek revenge for the loss of their family members on Bill and those around him.
