Overseer Ernestine Terrell, affectionately known as Tina, was raised on 12 acres of rural farmland in Shubuta, Mississippi, about 40 miles south of Meridian. Growing up with her mother, grandmother, and three siblings, church and faith were not just traditions; they were a lifestyle. Bible teaching, worship, and the foundation of God's Word shaped her from childhood into womanhood. A natural leader with a vibrant spirit, Tina excelled in school and athletics. She played basketball, participated in the band, cheered, and served as a flag girl. She was known for her energy, her heart for people, and her unwavering love for God.In time, Tina married and became the mother of three beautiful children, two from her marriage and her youngest son born afterward. She is now blessed with five grandchildren who, like generations before them, were raised to know God. Family remains deeply connected, united, and supportive, bonded by love, prayer, and an unshakable faith. Her journey included years of pain, silence, and domestic abuse. Yet Tina survived, and survival became her turning point. After receiving counseling and healing in Albany, New York, she returned to the church and rediscovered her God-given calling. She was licensed as a minister and served faithfully as a Youth Pastor for 12 years, leading more than 60 children in worship, ministry, and dance. This season ignited her passion for worship arts and creative ministry. As she grew spiritually, God called her higher. Under the mentorship of her Chief Apostle, she was nurtured, counseled, and later ordained. She was released into the office of Overseer where she covered multiple ministries. From obedience, growth, and testimony, Life After Death Ministries was birthed. Now more than 30 years into ministry, Overseer Ernestine "Tina" Terrell continues to preach, teach, intercede, write, and empower survivors. She has authored multiple books, hosted conferences, and carried her testimony into pulpits, workshops, and gatherings across the nation. Through her survival came purpose. Through her pain came power. Through her healing came ministry. And now she stands boldly and declares:I survived. Now what? Now she helps others survive too.
