When I was a young boy my mother entertained me nearly every day by reading me Bible stories from a children’s book. I was thrilled by such stories as David and Goliath and Daniel in the lions’ den. These stories made me feel like I was there witnessing the events unfold right before my eyes and they sparked within me a lifelong desire for Bible study. For this book I have written an adult version of my fifty-two favorite stories as they are found in the King James Bible and I also included my own commentaries about each story. I suggest that you use this book as a part of your devotions and concentrate on one story each week of the year.
