For almost forty years, the government has succeeded in convincing the public that all research related to human animal hybrids has been terminated. Macy Greer knows different. She is the lead scientist conducting the forbidden but ongoing research for the very agency responsible for the "termination." Recent changes in the agency's policies towards the hybrids have left Macy wary of the government's intentions. As the project draws to a close, Macy must choose which direction she will take.
