Jayson Hunter, investigative reporter, knew there would be trouble when he chose to go after Dr. Malcolm Sherrod for fraud. But trouble wasn't all he found. Hunter makes his living bringing down charlatans, cheats, crime bosses, and corrupt public officials. He especially enjoys exposing arrogant religious leaders who, like the rest of his usual scumbag targets, prey on the unsuspecting. He finally meets his match in the form of a beautiful and brilliant member of a West Texas religious cult. Hunter becomes the hunted. Diane Carter, with her killer smile and stunning good looks, captures his prurient interests and wins him over, pulling him deeper into her "faith community" where he discovers what he never dreamed existed, but had always hoped did. Despite the murders of his best friend and mistress, Jayson Hunter pushes on to find the truth hidden in the mesas around Cedar Spring, Texas. After surviving an attempt on his own life, Hunter recovers to find new hope and fresh incentive to radically alter his life. HUNTER might just alter your life.
