Life is God's most precious gift, but it can only be engaged through heterosexual activity. If the Creator designed humanity so that each gender must depend on the other for the propagation of the species, then what is He saying about sexuality?
Each life is a gift from God, being crafted in His image, so each life, regardless of the conditions, diseases, predispositions, or afflictions, must be treated with the utmost respect. Personhood is a gift from God, so those who claim Him as their Father must treat all persons with respect and the high regard corresponding with those who bear God's image.
When we remember that grace approaches us all as sinners, we are confront the reality that no sin is really larger or more damning than ours. We must not allow the sin of homosexuality to become a pariah, because it will only limit the church of Jesus Christ from ministering the grace and Gospel of Jesus to people who need it badly.
