The nature of the Star of Bethlehem has been pondered by many people over thousands of years. Was it supernatural, natural or both? Perhaps you have read the second chapter of Matthew in the Bible or contemplated the lyrics of a Christmas hymn and wondered what the Magi saw in the sky about the time Christ was born. Until now many questions have been left unanswered even though the Magi entered Jerusalem confident that they had seen "...His Star in the east and have come to worship Him..." They must have had a reason why they believed the Star was His and not a star representing someone else - and a King no less! Upon what was their confidence based?
I am sure that you will be amazed, as I was, to learn a very probable reason for their confidence and much more. His Star in His Heavens is a cause and effect reasonable explanation of the Star seen by the Magi described in the second chapter of Matthew and also prophesied in the ninth chapter of Daniel. Although many publications and videos have tried to fully explain the Star, I believe only His Star in His Heavens has succeeded. The primary reason why is because two errors have been corrected - errors that have led both scientists and theologians astray in their reasoning for hundreds of years. Once the date of Herod's death commonly quoted by the Jewish historian Josephus is corrected to 1 B.C. and the meaning of "weeks" in Daniel 9:25 is also corrected to Sabbatical Years, a most amazing, easily verifiable and God-honoring explanation of the Star unfolds. I will make the case that, like Christ, Who "...was foreknown before the foundation of the world..." (1 Peter 1:20 NASB), His Star was also foreknown before the foundation of the world. I will propose that His Star was conceived by God even before Adam and Eve were created!
