"Here Am I, Lord, Send Me!" will highlight my journey with the Lord as I endeavored to fulfill the calling of God upon my life. God called me to preach the Gospel of Jesus, the Christ, and it was a call that I couldn't evade, elude, or ignore. And so, in 1977, I answered the call with the words of the title of this work: "Here Am I, Lord, Send Me!"
Throughout the paragrahs and pages of this book, there are revealed times of weakness and times of strength; times of poverty of my own spirit and times of power in the Holy Spirit. There are also times of trepidation and times of transparency, but through it all, in the words of the late Andre Crouch, "I learned to trust in Jesus, I learned to trust in God."
I have no regrets for having answered this call upon my life, and a multitude of blessings from Him who called me and from whom all blessings flow have followed me all the days of my life. For this, I am truly thankful.
