Lana is struggling her way through high school. Oh, her grades are fine, perfect really, but that’s actually part of the problem. She was friends with a rather quiet girl from church and had an intimate relationship with the library. Navigating the social structure of school, however, is quite a different story. Somehow she usually found the strength to make it through another day. Bullying was terrible for Lana who already struggled with numerous issues not the least of which was her weight. When Lana met someone unusual, someone that she could turn to, someone that could help her sort her life out, everything began to change.
