This book is written as a companion to Haiku God: Some Mindful Musings on God, Creation, and Other Things. Although Haiku God stands by itself as a substantive introductory Systematic Theology, Companion essentially offers the foundational philosophical and theological principles upon which Haiku God was built. For each topic, Companion includes the following: Topic Name Detailed Description Simple (but substantive) Supporting Arguments Supporting Scripture References Objections and Responses Practical Points to Ponder The intent of Companion is to send the reader to a more contemplative and focused level of study, either during or after reading Haiku God. Companion's content is intended to be accessible to the reader, hopefully with concepts that have been reasonably simplified, but have not been made unduly simplistic. The two works combined should be more than sufficient for any individual who is interested in further exploring the existence, attributes and characteristics of the monotheistic God of the Holy Bible, as well as those of the cosmos that God created. If more information is needed or desired, I then submit that perhaps a divine calling is upon one's life, and that person should probably consider-and would likely be best served by-finding a good institution of higher learning through which pursuit of these worthwhile ideas can earnestly continue.
