These large cotton baskets are handmade from dense white cotton ropes covered in clear, gray, and navy blue mesh, intricately woven into rows of multi-colored braids, creating a block color striped pattern. Up close you can see the gray and blue colors are achieved through very fine textured dark gray and navy blue mesh over the white cotton. The ropes interlock into layers of smooth braids throughout the baskets’ bodies, topped with 3” braided handles that stay propped up from the large teak wood handles.
