The three-legged Money Toad, sometimes known as Chan Chu, is a traditional creature from Chinese folklore. According to Feng Shui, a Money Toad placed in one's home or business should be located within view of the front door to invite prosperity in. The Toad should be turned to face inward by night to prevent exhaustion.
