Are you a seeker of truth? Is your heart's desire to feel God's love? Do you want to praise God and learn of His ways? Do you need His comfort and support?The central purpose of this book is to feel the love of God, and to learn His will. Our Redeemer often taught in parables. I discovered poetry can do the same. A few years ago I wrote a poem. This was odd, because I had never been instructed in the art. In fact, poetry was an area I chose to avoid. It turns out in the sunset of my life, God prompted me to write when inspired. This spiritual gift I discovered was a total surprise. Wanting to please God, I followed His promptings. The still small voice inspired the poem“Whisperings Of Wisdom.” Later I did not understand what purpose my poems would serve. I concluded to that I would quit writing. Before doing so, I approached God in prayer and He inspire the poem,“God's Poet.” From then on I have continued to write.The 65+ poems written in this book were often the result of answered prayers, inspired thoughts that woke me in the night, promptings of peace when the Spirit testified. Each poem teaches a lesson of life; eternal truths that God would like us to understand, appreciation for countless blessings, how to endure life's trials, gifts of the Spirit. The list goes on and on. So, here you have it! Several lovely thoughts that can be used at the pulpit, in devotionals, in the classroom, in the privacy of your own home.
