Gateways to Art’s Journal forMuseum and Gallery Projects prepares students for museum visits andguides them on how to develop visual analysis skills and make connections withwhat they have learned in class. The new edition features gradable assignmentsfor students to complete during their museum visits. A checklist helps preparefor a museum visit, including a list of what to bring, a summary of what tolook for and take note of while there, and a short summary of the major formsof analysis. Students will learn what to consider when encountering any workfor the first time, and discover that there are many ways of viewing andinterpreting great works of art.
