Friending Rosie on Death Row explores how Quaker faith re-shapes attitudes toward marginalized persons and bridges the chasm between those locked behind bars and those who enjoy the privileges of freedom. The friendship between Judith Favor and Rosie Alfaro – women separated by class, race, religion, and prison walls – is a testimony to the power of "Friending" rooted and grounded in the love of God, who "is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20, NRSV)."Pendle Hill Pamphlet #470
