As an educator, teaching from books like Milady, Pivot Point and Clic (IYKYK), one of the most intense chapters was the Histology of the skin (integumentary system) because it was so detailed and very intense but very necessary. It just so happens to be one of my favorite topics to teach. Our bodies are complex, and the integumentary system is very complicated, but it was one subject I could really understand and absolutely love! As I have decided, to now teach to Body contouring, I am seeing an influx on the need for active body contouring specialist to understand skin and lymph as it relates to what we do. To not know skin and lymph as a BC specialist is to not know you need 4 tires to drive a car.... Therefore I have created a very simple guide to a complex subject, which is understanding skin and lymph, with us body contouring specialist in mind.
