ABOUT THE AUTHOR Andrea Jenkins is a God-inspired writer who has gained wisdom and insight through experiences and lessons that God has used to direct her path, and in return which she shares with others. Andrea's goal is simple: to share her transparent stories so that others will be encouraged! Some lessons in life come with tears, heartbreak and sorrow, but in the same way that dead leaves on a tree make way for a fuller healthier tree, so does our trials, dead leaves and limbs fall off to make room for more of God, a stronger, healthier walk and relationship with Him. Andrea resides in Portsmouth Virginia where she has been an Early Education Teacher and a Director of Music for Marriner Christian Academy for the last 15 years. Andrea is a soloist, Praise and Worship leader as well as a songwriter. In addition to various awards in writing and music, Andrea is also an Events Decorator and custom designs accessories for various events. Andrea earned degrees in Social Work and Early Education and is currently working towards her certification as a CPR/First Aid Instructor as well as the formulation of a city/state wide children's choir. With all Andrea's accomplishments over the years, her greatest and most precious treasure is her son Rahjon, who is the pride and joy of her life!
