David Foxworth has studied the subject of revival for over forty years. He has visited many historic revival sites in the United States, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales for the purpose of of research and prayer. He founded Lighthouse Christian Church in Montpelier, Vermont and served as senior pastor for fifteen years. In 2011 he earned a Ph.D in Renewal Studies from Regent University. He served as the Department Head of Biblical Studies for a seminary in Charlotte, N. C. He is married to Patty for 31 years. They currently reside in Rock Hill, S. C.
