Faith & Trinity, Forever Sisters is a spin off to Faith & Trinity, The Unicorn. These two sisters continue to share life experiences as if Trinity were still alive. In the first book, we learned that Faith & Trinity traveled the world together. The spiritual connection Faith has with her sister, Trinity, who is the Unicorn, allows Faith and her family to keep Trinity's memory alive. In Forever Sisters, these two young girls play and have fun like any normal sisters would. Some would ask well how is that possible? Faith's ability to imagine life with her sister enables her to be able to create an adventure for her readers to follow. From playing in makeup to playing dress up, they truly enjoy each other's company. The book is not only a way for young children to deal with coping with a loss, but it brings a sense of freedom as they gain the courage to talk about an unavoidable life event. Faith at the tender age of 6, is allowed to express her feelings about her sister, whom she physically never met, through her words and imagination. Death is not a topic many wish to talk about but it is a very needed conversation to have, especially with our kids.
