God included these narratives in the Bible to teach us how to avoid pitfalls and overcome adversity. Jesus wants that for you! We usually can't prevent what happens to us, but we can change our reaction to it just by following some simple biblical principles. Are you plagued by anxiety? So was the apostle Paul.
