When four mathematical students at M.I.T. solve Einstein's theory of space and time thus allowing travel backwards through history, a chain of events occur that threaten the fabric of known reality. Following a C.I.A. takeover of their project, an innocent statement made during a drunken outing makes it's way up to the highest level of U.S. Intelligence.
