Brandy Broot wanders into Wick & Whimsy, the town's artisanal candle shop, and finds a hidden compartment in a shipment of novelty tins that contains a small packet of contraband. When a local courier is arrested with scented candles marked for a private delivery, suspicion ripples through the maker community. Brandy follows fragrance notes, supplier receipts, and delivery shortcuts to uncover a smuggling route disguised as boutique candles and a mastermind who hides behind wholesaler respectability. Peter steadies Brandy, Maeve manages the legal side, and the shop's cozy charm masks efficient criminal logistics.
