They say death isn't an end, but a new beginning. When my husband fell ill, I honestly believed that if I loved him enough, he would survive. When he died, I lost everything. Faith, hope and joy were gone. I lost myself in grief and lived in my depression. Yet, I found it comforting. Until the day I received my husband's last request.

She came to us broken and so full of sorrow, it seeped from her bones. She was a lost soul that never asked to be found. When I first saw her, something called out to me, pulled me to her and tethered me around her. I wanted to keep my distance because she needed time to heal and room to breathe. But my soul found hers and I knew from that first sight, she was meant to be mine.
That's why I'm making it my mission to help her find the light in the darkness that consumes her. I will do anything to pull her from the grief that has taken her under.
