On the run from a brutal cartel boss in Mexico, Maya, an undercover CIA analyst, is up against an equally formidable opponent - the Sonora desert. Her escape back to the States is not guaranteed, but she has some help from the former cartel lieutenant, Leo. Together, they stand a better chance of surviving, but time and resources are fast running out.
