Earl Jones, the author of the Luke Parker mystery series, is a retired Army NCO who became a criminal defense attorney upon retirement from the military. These stories, while fictional, are based heavily on actual events. After studying and practicing law for over a decade, Mr. Jones became disillusioned with our criminal justice system. The character in these books, Luke Parker, is a fictional character based largely on the life of Earl Jones. Since many of the events herein are highly agitating and more than a little embroiled in ethical controversy, the author has decided to leave it up to the reader to decide which events are fact and which are fictional.
