2012 Reprint of 1925 Edition. Exact facsimile of the original edition, not reproduced with Optical Recognition Software. "Days of Heaven on Earth' was compiled by Simpson himself in response to repeated requests for daily readings. From his over 2,000 printed sermons, he selected these thought-provoking meditations, one for each day of the year. This spiritual gold mine met with instant approval and has been through many printings. Valuable wherever wise words are treasured. During the beginning of the twentieth century, Simpson became closely involved with the growing Pentecostal movement, an offshoot of the Holiness movement. It was common for Pentecostal pastors and missionaries to receive their training at the Missionary Training Institute [now Nyack College] that Simpson founded. Through the school and his own writings and teachings Simpson had a great influence on Pentecostalism, in particular the Assemblies of God and the Church of the Foursquare Gospel.
