Sixty years ago an alien scout ship, damaged and unable to leave Earth's solar system, landed in the western United States. The pilot, surveying the damage, discovered by a chance meeting with Wendy Marshall, an aircraft engineer, suffers a life threatening accident. Wendy saves his life becoming immersed in a first contact adventure.
After an exhaustive search by the Alorei, the ship and pilot were written off as inexplicably lost. Two years ago, another Alorei scout ship in our system discovered what is believed to be the lost ship. Ian Young, a descendant of Wendy, is contacted by an Alorei warship commander with a request. Help them rescue the stranded ship from its sixty year old resting place and fly it to a waiting Alorei cruiser at a secret base on the back side of the Earth's moon. When Ian inquires why they need him, he's told that he alone has the unique skill set to recover the ship due to his mixed race heritage. Although he doesn't understand this genetic link, he reluctantly agrees to the request, succumbing to the charms of the female alien warship commander. Once committed, he finds that the ship's location makes the recovery not only dangerous but possibly hazardous to a good portion of planet Earth's inhabitants as well.
A beautiful and persuasive alien ship commander and a covert operation to stop an upcoming Oak Industries scanning test which will discover the ship, provide the background to a wild ride for Ian. Add to that, a back story that spans over sixty years of Earth based covert alien activity leading up to the recovery mission for the lost ship. Join Ian on his adventure into a world of enigmatic dangers and technological discoveries that propel him into areas of science humans could only imagine.
