For easy coupling, use the CURT SecureLatch 30,000 lb Pintle Hook. This hook features an auto-locking system, so you don't have to worry about manual coupling. It has a cupped hook to hold the lunette ring along with a back plate that keeps the lunette ring in the proper position. Rated for a 30,000-pound gross trailer weight.
- Automatically secures the primary latch; no manual coupling required
- Cupped hook tightly holds the lunette ring fore and aft to help reduce any chucking and noise
- Back plate helps properly position the lunette ring for easier installation
- Intermediate safety chain hangers keep chains away from the ground
- Tested and rated to support up to a 30,000-pound gross trailer weight and a 6,000-pound vertical load
- Works with SecureLatch pintle mounts with a slotted plate (sold separately)
- Couples to lunette rings that have an inside diameter of 2-1/2 inches or 3 inches
- Crafted from cast iron and austempered for excellent strength and wear resistance
- Zinc-plated hardware provides long-lasting corrosion resistance
- Height adjustments are easy to make using just a single tool; no disassembly required
