The 2008 election in America was all about change. Democrats said, “The interests of the community are more important than are the interests of individuals.” Change from individual to community interests was at the root of the 2008 elective choice. On the other side, there were no spokespeople for the individual and his or her interests, so it is no wonder the community interest people won. The way was clear for change by default. Individual interests made America the prosperous, free nation it had become. Why were there no voices heard in defense of the importance of individuals? Perhaps it was to mask the reasons why America was so different from the rest of the world, or even if there is anything worth investigating. This book, however, investigates those reasons why America became so prosperous and the object of envy by those leading the rest of the world and applauds individual interests.
