The book, Compass Rosie Visits Africa recounts the expedition of Compass Rosie as she is on safari on the Chobe River, and in the Chobe National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire National Park, the Serengeti National Park, and several small villages. She visits South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Namibia, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe. There are over 350 photographs, illustrations, and maps in the book. It includes fun facts about the animals, such as a group of giraffes are called Towers. The images capture very special moments in the lives of the animals as she gets up close to them.
