These short articles, poems, and tiny tidbits are meant to help you reflect on the part you want to play in this story called life. May your journey lead you to ponder your everyday blessings and lifelong challenges to arrive at a place of love, patience, understanding and acceptance. These are my stories, or anecdotes, if you prefer. They are a part of my life. I did not make them up. I lived them. They are small tidbits, not unlike a moment in time. These stories are not in chronological order, nor are they written in the same narrative form. They are random. They are told from my perspective. Your perspective may be different, and that is OK. I hope you get from these writings exactly what you need to get from them. They are not meant to rush through. My hope is that after you have read a story you will take some time to contemplate how the experience might relate to you and your life. Maybe, just maybe, you will see something of you in the stories. And that is a good thing. I believe I will have succeeded in doing what God has wanted me to do for a long time, if you reap even a small bit of inspiration, contemplation, thoughtfulness, understanding, awakening, or acceptance. This is a faith based book and I often refer to God. Please note that you may want to substitute the word God with something else, such as, Jesus, Lord, Father/Abba, All-Mighty, Allah, The Universe, El Shaddai, Adonai, Elohim, Yahweh, My Divinity, Supreme Being, Jah, or any other word(s) that reflect your description of a Higher Being. Please do so. You will find that I do not adhere to strict rules of procedure. If I have gained nothing else from my experiences with God, I do know that it doesn't matter, to Him, what you call Him .... He just wants you to call.
