This is a story about coming of age in a time of social unrest, economic uncertainty, increasing vitriol and political upheaval. Beginning nine months after the January 6th insurrection and ending several years later, this book is part fact, and part speculative fiction. It is a book about what has been, what might have been and what still could be. It is a story about college students who come together to address White Nationalism and cult-like autocracy and to do something about it. In the process, the students confront racism and death threats. They infiltrate White Nationalist vigils, rallies and a book burning event. In the end, they make common cause with someone they initially viewed as an enemy, but finding a way to communicate respectfully and engaging with open minds provides a pathway to progress.
