By the time they understood, it was too late. The king was overthrowing his own government–removing elected officials and making himself an absolute monarch. The queen and her loyal guards tried to stop him, but something went wrong. They were betrayed. And that betrayal cost both the king and the queen their lives. Now Seong-Min, defeated general and failed bodyguard, must fulfill the vow made to his beloved queen–save her children and restore the fallen government on the planet Taren. With the Queen's secret society of guards, he makes plans to act as soon as the two royals come of age, removing key figures in the new government. He feels confident that the plan will work this time, but Seong-Min doesn't yet realize they've reset the board with the same person who caused the failure of the first rebellion. Only a few of them managed to escape last time. Treachery this time could mean death for them all.
