I've spent years reaching for a dream. One filled with the only thing I've ever truly loved-music. Too bad I've now caught the eye of a timpani player who won't leave me alone. When he reveals that he's been stalking me and he's sick of the chase, I hide out in the theatre I've found solace in. The xylophone I have an uncanny connection with will keep me company while I figure out what to do. What do I do, though, when I run into a man whom I'm drawn to, just like my xylophone? Do I give in to his magnetism, or do I run from him as well?

For centuries, I've been cursed to live out the majority of my existence trapped within a xylophone. The mistakes of my past aside, I'm granted one night to roam the halls of my former theatre after a final performance. When my sweet Melody waltzed into my life a year ago, I knew she was meant for me. When the timpani player threatens her, I'd give anything to break from my curse and rip him apart with my bare hands. When night falls and I take corporal form, the curse takes pity upon me, delivering Melody straight into my arms. I'll help her take care of her little timpani problem and perhaps convince her to indulge in one night together. No matter what happens when the sun rises, I plan on making her mine-wholly and completely.
