The author is the voice of seven women who were unable to write or verbalize their stories. They have decided to unmask their faces, remove the shame, recover from humilation, and become instruments of strength and dignity. Each one regained her voice. They are no longerliving within their stories, they're now living above their stories. Deliberately, they have decided to no long put a exy bandage on their pain.
