My personal journey within a dark season affected my outcome and choices along the path of development to adulthood. The residual of such season left me in a broken fragmented spiritual, emotional, and physical dilemma. The vision of hope was so blurry leaving me to question my faith in God to the point of unbelief, a period of uncertainty and hopelessness. My nursing career became a flickering light as it kept my mind focus and away from the existing problems. Caring and serving others provided me with diversity to culture, ethnicity, values and belief on a magnitude of authenticity words cannot express. It opened my eyes to death, pain, suffering, illness and miracles while at the same time it mirrored my physical emotional and spiritual bleeding within. The entire process was instrumental in my ability to navigate through the valley, ignite my faith, erase doubts and experienced God's amazing Grace.
