She learned about football and business from her father, Leonard Tose, who owned the Philadelphia Eagles football team. Before the age of forty, Susan was a mother, had been a business owner, was a lawyer, and was the general manager of that NFL team. Susan eventually returned to business, diving headfirst into the food distribution industry where she ran a successful global business. She added two more businesses to her ventures, both in food processing, one of which she owned and ran for more than twenty years.Susan earned a bachelor's degree from Boston University, a master's in Education/Economics from Hofstra University, and her law degree from Villanova University.
