This is the true story of an orphaned deer rescued by a woman dealing with her own childhood trauma. Anna and her husband Pino fulfill their lifelong dream of escaping the city life of New York by moving to the country and buying a farm in Tewksbury, New Jersey. But the simple compassionate act of rescuing an abandoned deer soon accelerates the changes and the course of their lives.
