There are several stories within the bible that show relationships that can help fathers form a Christian bond with their son. One example is the story of Cain and Abel. Cain and Abel were brothers. The story shows that Cain became angry and jealous of his brother Abel because Abel offered God a more excellent sacrifice than himself and in a fit of rage he killed him for it. Fathers can use this story to form a Christian bond with their son in teaching him that it is not right to be so overcome by jealousy that you'd react violently and kill and to learn to open his heart to God so that he is not ruled by jealousy and hate.Another example in the Bible is the story of Daniel. How Daniel never ceased to worship and pray to God despite a decree that no one was to worship any gods but King Darius at the time or risk being thrown into the lion's den but still he prayed to His God. Stories like these are throughout the Bible and can be used to strengthen the bond that a father has with his son in a more Christian way.
