Forgiveness isn't needed until there is an infraction. Healing doesn't happen unless there is pain. Progress does not occur until that first step is taken. You are not alone. Many of us have experienced the put-downs and humiliating snubs from individuals and groups of people. The unknown source of this treatment can cause fear, anger, and frustrations that only those bullied can understand. Personally, I learned from bullying that I need to consider the source, intent, and extent to which I am willing to allow those hurtful comments to keep me from becoming what God has intended for me.
