A memoir of an Australian Youth Exchange student, who embarked on a journey of not only exchange, but also travel, relationships, personal growth and development. Tens of thousands of teenagers around the world embark on life-changing youth exchange programs every year. Their personal growth and development is brought about by an enormously vast array of experiences, both good and bad. They laugh, they cry, they make mistakes, and they achieve amazing things. Those who embrace every opportunity can make their year abroad a journey of self-discovery, as well as appreciating what life in another country is like. They gain a profound understanding of humanity, they learn diplomacy, and respect for other cultures. The innocence of youth evolves to create truly world citizens.
