In this second collection of short stories and poetry, Tony explores feelings of loneliness and shame, stories of lust and marriage, and topics of death and addiction. He delivers a powerful view of life and events in a way only he can. Included in this collection are pieces that are incredibly personal to Tony, written in his voice with his pain and thoughts, words that he believes others can relate to in one fashion or another. "Bad Words" slip from time to time, and Tony uses his to examine an array of emotions in the face of some of the most devastating and extraordinary circumstances. Most of the pieces in this collection were written in the months since the first collection, BEDBUG'S WRITING, VOLUME ONE, was released. Some pieces (including the poems "Here;" "Shower;" "Hi, Koos;" and "My Mirror Shows Don Quixote") were written several years ago, and reflect a more immature and naive mind, and Tony included these in here for a dual purpose: first, he found something in these pieces that spoke to him after all this time, that intrigued him, that he liked, so he decided to share them with the world; second, including these pieces helps provide a visual representation of growth, maturity, and understanding--deep themes throughout this entire book. This collection also includes a section of microfiction, stories told in 100 words or less, typically, and all of these were written for writing challenges on websites such as Grammar Ghoul Press and YeahWrite--though, Tony has made some small modifications to these stories, elaborating on them a bit as he is no longer restrained by any word count. The section "again, poetry" harkens back to the fact that Tony's poetry doesn't typically follow any formal rules for poetic form, and is often written with the idea of performing it live on stage. New poetry titles include "Bad Words;" "Me, Sleeping;" and "Queen of Flames". New short stories are also included. Most of the material in this collection is completely fictional, but some draw on real life occurrences, either in Tony's personal life (reflecting his emotions and thoughts at that time) or accounts of real-life events that he's heard first-hand. Which are real and which are fiction? He'll let you figure it out!
