This United States Army manual, Army Techniques Publication ATP 3-06.11 Brigade Combat Team Urban Operations September 2024, provides brigade combat teams and subordinate commanders and staffs specific information and techniques they will need to conduct large scale combat operations within the urban environment. Urban operations are those operations across the range of military operations planned and conducted on or against objectives on a topographical complex and its adjacent natural terrain where man-made construction or the density of population are the dominant features (see ATP 3-06). Most urban operations are planned and controlled at the division or corps level, but urban operations are executed by brigade combat teams. They are among the most complex and challenging missions a brigade combat team can undertake. The chapters are organized by topic and have been updated to reflect changes to Army doctrine.
