This book explores the possibility to fit the essence of six Tarot cards to the constricted structure of the haiku poem. The result is a beautiful economy of thought and image. Although the book was written as a companion to the limited edition Arcades Tarot, it can serve as inspiration and guiding tool for all interested in developing a language of visual synthesis. How do you render a world of Tarot symbolic representations and cultural functions in 17 syllables? By keeping an eye on what goes in and out of the arcades of perception.
