Space is a cold, unforgiving place, especially when you're alone. Cloud, Nova, Sky, Star, Rain, Luna and Storm had spent their whole lives hiding from Normals who didn't understand not all Hypers, the next step in Romarch's evolution, were dangerous. Their escape from Romarch with their parents in a specially designed starship called Aquarius had resulted in the execution of their co-conspirators. They found a water bound planet called Surana to submerge Aquarius in to hide. Now, seven years later, their parents have not returned from a supply run and the planet has been found by miners whose probes could find them at any minute. Forced to flee, the seven siblings take Aquarius back into space to go in search of their parents. Their search takes them to Tegarius, a planet their parents had considered a safe haven, until giant bugs take Star and poison Cloud as he, Nova, and Sky try to stop them. With the Galactic Authorities on their trail and a possible ally joining them who has his own reasons for avoiding the Authorities, they head for the bugs' home planet in the hopes of rescuing their sister and continuing their search for their parents.
