Jane Harrison is a young woman who has lost her job, reputation, friends and family over a scandal connected to her past. Convinced she has nothing left to live for, she decides to engage a man known as 'the Reaper' (aka 'Angel of Mercy') to help her die. Upon meeting the Reaper, however, things take a slightly different turn than either of them expected and Jane's life expectancy is suddenly extended. In the future she was not meant to see, Jane finds herself making a deal with the Reaper. In exchange for helping him solve an old case involving dozens of sadistic murders, he would honour his initial contract and set her free from her misery.
Things heat up exponentially when the pair tries to enlist the help of Gabriel - who, of course, has his own plans. Aided by an army of elite soldiers, known as 'the Wolf Squad', Gabriel swiftly takes control, sending all of them onto a new adventure. During the wild sexcapades and drama that ensues, Jane and her Angel of Mercy are first pulled apart, then brought back together, with explosive consequences...
