Gabrielle Benson, PhD.'s, or Gabi as everyone knows her, "marriage" has ended under unusual circumstances as well as her career. Disgraced, she moves to her cabin in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, to begin a new life. Unfortunately, she doesn't know that her first love, who broke her heart, Eddie Minor, also chose Eureka Springs to retire.
Gabi was Eddie's first love, too. Together, the couple experienced many firsts in their relationship, especially an electrical current that flowed through their bodies whenever they touched.
Wanting to expand her cabin for full-time residency, Gabi's introduced to Eddie, who does remodeling and construction work. Eddie doesn't recognize Gabi, and the relationship begins as a purely professional one.
Gabi avoids touching Eddie, afraid the electrical current might still be there. However, when she accidentally touches Eddie's hand, the current is strong and courses through Gabi's body as it did so many years ago. But does Eddie experience the current, also? If he does, will he remember Gabi and the emotions the current evokes?
