An allegory is a tale of hidden moral and political truths that intrigue. Suffused with the tense drama of a bank take-over by FDIC, hundreds of farm-families are left destitute as their errant church leader begins acquiring assets for pennies on the dollar. When Rebekah and her sister fight to help families retain their holdings, the power of a religious stronghold is unleashed.
