I was born and raised in small town USA, Bellevue, Ohio. Being a farmer's daughter, I worked long hours on the farm including milking cows at 4 A.M. with Grandpa and Dad. I loved it! My story is about my strong, stubborn workaholic character developed from hard work required in farm life, to one of totally trusting God. At the age of 35, I underwent my first open heart surgery and stroke. Going forward, I survived 26 years of two to three surgeries each year for cancer, 4 open hearts, mini-strokes, vascular disease, many other health issues, and a head-on collision with a 18-wheel tractor trailer. It wasn't until I experienced Heaven the second time that I realized God has a purpose for me just as He has for each one of us. Jesus sent me back with this message of hope for you, "Tell my children that I love them, and will be coming back soon." How does a person continue to be joyful in the midst of tough trials?
